Many of you know him as Bernie. Those close to him know him as Scott. Our Beloved EMT that has been part of the Schuylkill Valley Family since 1975. For those members you know Bernie they have NEVER witnessed him without facial hair. From 1975-1979 Bernie was a clean shaven man but since then he has maintained a full face of hair.
After 18 years of trying to get Bernie to shave his beard and believe me I have tried hard he has agreed to RAFFLE OFF his facial hair as part of our 50th Anniversary as a fund raiser. One lucky winner will be given a brand new set of clippers and will shave the hair that has been with Bernie longer than some of us have been members.
